The last cricket-free weekend has been and gone guys.. hate to break it to you! A couple of you may have 1 or 2 more, but even if you don’t have a game I am sure you will end up at the club at some point.. or even better another team’s game/club phahah! Our pre-season games start this weekend and not just 1 but 2. . so yeah, starting the 2026 season with a double header! I feel like that should be illegal in April! Week 2 of our pre-season and we’re diving into setting our expectations for the season! If we get it right, cricket season can be amazing. If we don’t, it can be a LOT! Hello to any new stumblers across my page, and obviously hey to my old faithfuls 🫶🏼 Well, May has been quite the month! Not in any mind-blowing way, but in lots of little ‘fill your cup’ moments. May is the month where the doubleheader season kicks off and basically never ends. And to tell you the truth, I’m 4 doubleheader weekends in (out of a ‘current’ 6) and my head’s still pretty ok. Think it helps when you’ve got a four-day city break booked right in the middle of it!
